last day before break!

As we head into the break, think about the great civilizations we have studied – the Mesopotamians, the Egyptians, the Greeks – and consider how many challenges they faced along the way. Right now the United States is facing one of our greatest challenges in COVID-19. But I have confidence that we are going to rise to the occasion, and emerge from this crisis triumphant. I’m not requiring a blog from you tonight (unless you WANT to write one, OR you are in Honors 201), but I would like you to think about our role as responsible citizens who have been asked to simply stay home to minimize the spread of this deadly disease, as you take the next ten days off from school. God bless you, and God bless America – seriously.

The SupWestCiv section does not meet today, so you have no assignment.

Honors 202: your "assignment" is in the above paragraph.

Honors 201: your assignment is to do what the other sections did yesterday - post two images of classical Greek architecture on your blog. Describe each building you have chosen, using at least three sentences for each.

Everybody, please enjoy your break - at home!

Until we meet again...

At long last, we have arrived at the end of this ridiculous school year. What a ride. I appreciate you folks so much - you had patience ...
